(Zhuhai) – Recently, the "Drone Security Management Solution (Greater Bay Area Low-Altitude FlightGuard)" project, led by Eastcompeace Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Eastcompeace") and jointly developed with  **China Unicom International**, **China Unicom Huasheng**, **China Unicom Guangdong**, **China Unicom Hubei**, **HK Telecommunication(CSL)**,**The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)**, **Yunhuan UAV** and **Sun Yat-sen University**, successfully advanced to the finals of the "Open Gateway Global Application Scenario Design and Development Competition". The final results will be announced at MWC Barcelona 2025.  

Organized by GSMA and China Unicom, the competition aims to promote the implementation of the **Open Gateway Initiative**, accelerate the unlocking of network value, and align network capabilities with market demands. The event calls for global innovations in open network capabilities, requiring collaborative product prototyping and development between supply-side and demand-side teams.  

The "Drone Security Management Solution (Greater Bay Area Low-Altitude FlightGuard)" addresses challenges in low-altitude flight control amid the rapid growth of the Greater Bay Area’s low-altitude economy. By integrating foundational capabilities from Open Gateway and Eastcompeace’s digital identity security technology, the project introduces the "FlightGuard" product. This solution provides drones with secure digital identity authentication, real-time flight status monitoring, and a cross-border 5G secure network channel for broadcasting and reporting flight data. It effectively mitigates risks such as unauthorized flights, cross-border deployment complexities, and security management hurdles, supporting the safe and efficient development of the Greater Bay Area’s low-altitude economy.  

The project’s advancement to the finals highlights Eastcompeace’s leading technical expertise and innovation capabilities in IoT security.
